I wondered.
Puzzled over the uncalled-for comments and snide remarks.
Hurt.
I thought we were friends, comrades even as we fought through difficult times.
Then slowly, it sank in.
He never treated nor even viewed me as a friend!
Why should I allow myself to feel hurt over a person who repeatedly demostrated a lack of concern over my feelings?
Nor value my friendship?
Today, I get the message loud and clear.
What an ass I have been and yes, it is time to move on.
